My experience with Go TEFL was great! The teachers were always available to help and offered whatever resources we needed to understand the material and make lesson plans. They always gave honest, useful feedback on my teaching practice; which has helped to feel prepared and confident whenever I enter any classroom!
It was daunting at first to teach lessons but by the end of the course I was confident and comfortable in front of the class and really wish I could keep an evaluator with me for future lessons.

I can’t imagine trying to teach English in another country without going through a TEFL program like TAP (Go TEFL). I feel much more prepared and confident than other teachers who have not taken the course. Teaching practices with classes of Thai children, group lesson-planning exercises, and grammar training have proven to be invaluable for our success as teachers. The staff of Go TEFL will personally assist you with anything and everything you need, from airport pick-up to finding out the best place to do your laundry. I and my fellow “TEFLers” continuously discuss how lucky we are to have gone through this program first!
Not knowing much about Thailand prior to my departure, I was skeptical but the orientation and overall Thai experience was phenomenal. When I arrived, I was surprised to see how many other teachers were present at my orientation. I ended up staying in Thailand for over a year and a half.
Doing a TEFL in Thailand was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The TEFL itself was easy going and essential for preparing myself to go off and teach as I had no prior experience. It was one of the best three weeks of my life and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Teaching in Thailand was a scary thought, at first. The TEFL course helped me paint a picture of what is to come. The course gave me the basic tools to tackle not only teaching in general. Having a placement agency helped tremendously.
