GoTEFL is part of UniTraining International, which trains English teachers and runs a number of courses, including a teacher’s diploma and Masters in Education which it administers on behalf of foreign universities. Under the brand UniTEFL we have been training TEFL teachers on one-month courses since 2010. This is where the training takes place for the TAP program, but a number of alternatives are offered for those preferring to make their own arrangements.
The Training and Placement (TAP) program is similar to an ‘internship’, combing the standard 120-hour TEFL International certification course with your one term of mentored teaching. Start out with a month of TEFL training. Read more.
The standard four-week course is conducted by GoTEFL, one of the most respected trainers in Thailand. It is open to all, regardless of whether you choose to join the TAP or independently get the TEFL International certificate. Read more.
This convenient option combines online study of the theory modules (60 hours) with two-weeks of in-class tutoring, which includes practicums. For experienced teachers or volunteers it’s a cost-effective choice. Read more.
